My Life:
Gabe, Sky and I rolled to J Lounge. Turns out Neil Armstrong was spinning that night. Sky is Neil’s manager so it was a family affair. Lately I’ve been enjoying going to larger clubs where I don’t know anyone. its way funner this way. You get to blend in and just enjoy the music. Neil recently came off Jay-Z’s tour and he’s been traveling like mad. The day before he landed in LA he was in Nigeria spinning at a club. Dino was promoting tonight so he took care of us on drinks. Nothing smells trouble than kicking off the night with Petron shots. Good Times…

My Life:
Hung out with Jon Phenom and his brother. We rolled to Los Feliz and had us some corn hash breakfast for dinner, for old times sake. I saw Jon a few days ago in Vegas but prior to that, I haven’t seen him for over three months! He’s been busy traveling and working on new episodes for Hay Fam as well as taking on a lot of freelance gigs. The man is versatile, he can design clothes, make music, and create great documentaries. A jack of all trades.

My Life:
Rolled out to Vegas for Project. Let’s face it, we’re all here to meet people and politic but more importantly, we are all here to get wasted. Rounded up the troops and we headed to Tryst for the Hudson Jeans x Creative Recreation party.

The place was jam packed. I wish I could list all the wonderful people there but I’m bound to forget to mention people so I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Hands down one of the best parties I’ve been to in Vegas. Special Thanks goes to Tony Chu (Hudson Jeans) for granting me a table with generous bottle service. I was hurtin’ the next day.

My Life:
Paul (Cassette) rolled by the office. Paul is a young man facing old man problems. I’ve known Paul for over 10 years now. His father and my father are good friends. Paul recently finished school at FIDM and he’s been working with me at EM as well at the Cassette studios. Times are tough these days and its been a rather difficult job market for the best of us. Paul has talent, anyone looking for a hard worker who can design, lemme know so I can connect the dots. Holla!

My Life:
Siki was in town so I told him to roll by the office to rap out. Siki is a senior designer at Helmut Lang. We couldn’t talk much since I was in the midst of insane emails. A hello and a goodbye. Days are bleeding way too fast…

My Life:
Bradley Tuck is a comedic guy. We just met today to discuss story ideas and we hit it off. We talked for hours on end about media and Hollywood and food and fashion. Bradley has been writing for 944 for quite some time now and I’m excited to collaborate with him for future issues. Nothing beats a witty fun filled conversation with a cup of espresso.

My Life:
The weekend is a welcome reprieve. I had dinner with Alexander last Friday in Los Feliz. A simple dinner: chicken over rice, it’s a basic meal but it works. Alex has been busy teaching, he was at a specialized program at Stanford for a while then took off to New York for some biz opps. It seems like everyone is so busy these days. I really liked Alex’s leather bracelet, it turns out it was a necklace piece he decided to wrap around his wrist. The man’s style is effortless: simple and casual.

On Saturday, Robert happened to be in town from New York. We rolled to Soy Cafe and grabbed a light lunch. Rob has been mad busy working on a variety of photoshoots. His latest work he shot for Cassette’s campaign is very nice. I jabbed Rob about his haircut all afternoon. Rob had his share of making fun of me too. The afternoon breeze sure felt good. Rob later showed me his book of polaroids of models from casting calls.
Good to catch up with your broski. See you in NY during Fashion Week.

Marcella (Kangol) was in town today from New York. It’s interesting hosting people at my new office here in West Hollywood. We caught up on each other’s happenings in life. Marcella is one the coolest girls I know. She was so kind to drop off a few gifts as well.

My Life:
I’m not one to over accessorize, but as of late I’ve selected a few things that is making my life a bit more organized. Laptop bags are nice but I think carrying a satchel is a bit more classy. The same goes for a sleeve cover to protect your laptop. And what better way to introduce yourself than with a nice cardholder when meeting new folks?

My Life:
My housemates are back in town after, what seems like months of touring their band, Dengue Fever. We decided to have a family dinner tonight. Nothing beats a good meal with friends. We fired up the grill and had us some chicken, corn, and two batches of salad. Dan (Evil Monito) came by and brought some bourbon. It was Thursday night but man did it feel like Sunday…
