Kate rolled by today. She’s from New York. The weird thing is Kate and I have been IM buddies for a long time. I can’t remember how long we’ve known each other virtually but it was only recent who I realized who she was when she stopped by with Peter Graham. Kate is an ill stylist and the stranger thing is she also has collaborated with Robert Hamada, so the world seems to get that much smaller. Smile. It’s Monday. Did you know that Monday is the day where most people commit suicide? Well It’s Monday and I’m still alive. Ok even I admit that sounded a bit morbid. You feelin’ the Monday Blues? Me too.

Sure I love my pancakes and eggs done over easy with a side of bacon and avocados. But I can’t get the sense of satisfaction of chopped scallions in meat broth. Sullong tang hits it home each and every time!

We hosted a staff BBQ for the Evil Monito crew. Lots of familiar faces showed up. Later in the night we got weird watching  Jodorowsky’s “Holy Mountain.” Of course this is how the EM crew always gets down. We graduated from hipster to hippie. Welcome to bizarro land…

It’s Fucking Friday…

Had lunch with Jaewon and Stephan. Stephan and I met a while back while he was working at CAA, now he’s a free bird and working on several independant projects revolving around film. He introduced me to Jaewon, an artist who is doing great things. Peep his work here – www.j1studio.com

In Los Angeles, a lot of people talk but only a few execute. Meet Linda Lovemade of…yes you guessed it…LOVE MADE. Linda and her partner in crime, Tammy has been killin’ the event production/promotion game in the last several months. They are putting in work and getting it in!! Linda swung by to catch up for a quick second inside my office where the wall has literally gone amiss. She is constantly working on something, keep an eye out for Love Made in product lane game soon! Good seeing you girl and keep doing your thing!!!

So a month ago I stopped by House of Spirits after work to pick up yet again some more alcohol. I swear I’m not an alcoholic but I find myself enjoying the occasional Makers on the rocks. Anyhow so there I am in line with my bottle in hand and I see these awesome beanies with letters on them. Instantly I think of my Jr. High school days when the kids in my school would rock beanies with letters on them, think letterman jacket but on a hat, and I went to a pretty ghetto school so kids had to represent one way or the other right? So I bought a beanie with an “R” on it and I’ve been wearing it out, some people think its Polo but in reality it’s nothing but a cheap rad beanie I got at an Echo Park liquor store. Claudine (Think PR) bothered me to get her one but they didn’t have any C’s but they did have however G’s! So I had to hook a sister up and sent one to Grace (Think PR). Represent!!! Oh and sorry I couldn’t get you one Claudine…hope you don’t hate me.
