Soycafe
My Life:I swear I cannot get enough of Soycafe in Silverlake. If I could begin each day with this meal consisting of Tumeric Soy Curd and Soynug Rice, along with my condensed milk Vietnamese iced coffee, I would be 100% productive all the time. 1997 Hyperion Ave in Silverlake, I call it the UNDFTD of noodle shops. Open only from Mon to Sat and from the hours of 11 am to 3 pm. Gotta love it.

mmm…yum. Tell Viet, Thai says hello from Hoi An.
I am going follow some of your advice and check this place out this morning, I just moved to LA last month. I was also looking forward to going to that pastry (cupcake) cafe you posted a few months back — but it all the old posts were removed.
Look forward to meeting you someday.

Hello David
Welcome to Los Angeles! Yes sorry about my old posts being removed. I will eventually back log everything…soon… Anyhow yes the pasty place is called Delilahs. Info is here – http://www.yelp.com/biz/delilah-bakery-los-angeles
Indeed let’s cross paths soon!
Man-0-Man!
I love everything on the menu, I have tried everything at least twice! I think I actually saw you eating there last weekend, thanks for the great advice! Any other places you would point me to for 100% satisfaction… I am pretty open minded and have a very strong stomach

What up David
Word man glad you enjoyed Soy Cafe. Try hitting up Mama’s Hot Tamales on 7th and Alvarado as well. Pretty good tamales, the tortilla soup and horchata is good too.
